Air pollution from industry - Decisions, and how you can influence them

(Recorded, December 12, 2023, 98 min)

This webinar covers air permitting. When a company wants to do something that will create air pollution, they must have a permit. The permit limits how much air pollution is allowed. This is to make sure levels meet health-based standards. There is a lot of work that goes into the decision to grant a permit. Comments from the public can influence what is in a final permit. This session walks through a recent air permit. We discussed what the company asked for, how the public made comments, and how the comments improved the permit.
