ULI Southeast Florida/Caribbean reposted this
We recently had the privilege of hosting a presentation from the Leadership Institute at the ULI Southeast Florida/Caribbean, focused on a visionary plan for a downtown area in Greenacres. The talented and highly qualified team involved in our Leadership Project was tasked with identifying a prime location for a new district, along with proposing programming, policy, and design options to support its development. ✅ Innovative Solutions: The team provided our City's executive team with cutting-edge solutions to the challenge of identifying a site for a vibrant downtown. ✅ Future Growth Recommendations: They offered strategic recommendations for future growth and insightful suggestions for financing the project. ✅ Case Study Examples: Their comprehensive analysis included case study examples to support their site recommendations. The culmination of their hard work and creativity is captured in a detailed report, highlighting tremendous opportunities for our City. The information contained in the document will be shared with the public soon, outlining the envisioned improvements that will transform Greenacres from "A Good Place to Live" to "A Great Place for All." Thank you to the great team of experts: Matthew Barnes Gina Chiello, WEDG Maria M. Debye Saxinger Grégory Gabriel Trisha Logan, AICP David Rendina Michael Trimble and Rafael Romero; and City team: City Manager McCUe, Griselle Chazu, Denise Malone and Gionni Gallier Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey toward making this vision a reality! #Greenacres #UrbanDevelopment #LeadershipInstitute #UrbanLandInstitute #CityPlanning #CommunityGrowth #FutureVision #InnovativeSolutions #GreatPlaceForAll #PalmBeach #Econdev #ThinkBIGGreenacres
