The D&I 2023 report is out! I'm thrilled to share #SAP’s newly published 3rd annual #Diversity & #Inclusion Report 2023, demonstrating our continuous dedication and hard work towards achieving a more diverse and inclusive environment within our organization. This report not only presents the progress we've accomplished in the past year, but also showcases the impact of a comprehensive D&I strategy that spans across our #workforcediversity, #workplaceinclusion, and marketplace #leadership on the success of SAP and our ecosystem. Excitingly, it provides fresh insights drawn from our first-ever globally conducted and anonymous self-identification diversity survey, and includes data related to external hiring. This intersectional data helps in firing up meaningful conversations and initiatives to foster further #inclusivity at SAP. A huge shoutout to Supriya Jha and her fantastic team, along with the Executive Sponsors and allies at SAP. These dedicated colleagues work tirelessly and consistently in driving systemic inclusion at SAP in collaboration with our Employee Network Groups. Please take a moment to delve into the report to understand the strides we've made within the last year. I believe that the steps we've taken to maintain diversity and inclusion are critical in laying the foundation for a successful and respectful work environment. Leadership involvement from the very top of the organization in inclusion initiatives is valuable and sets the tone. It was wonderful to have Juergen Mueller share some opening words for the recent AI with Purpose event! I appreciate that our CTO has also spent time connecting with many of our #AutismAtWork and Autism Inclusion Network community members and learn more about autism and autistic #inclusion. Impact can happen in the big and the small moments! Watch the event replay and learn more at https://lnkd.in/gZkUJG27
For technology to be truly innovative and inclusive, we need a diverse team to bring in all ideas and perspectives. A diverse workforce is part of our strength at SAP and enables us to create a powerful portfolio for our customers. One important element of creating diversity has been our #AutismAtWork program, helping us to bring in employees on the spectrum with valuable skills and ideas which contribute to our success. I‘ve seen the impacts in both big and small ways when meeting colleagues around the globe. During my meeting with the Autism at Work colleagues in India late last year, one of the colleagues correctly identified the day of the week that I was born on, within seconds of me sharing my date of birth. That’s a fun party trick but imagine what sort of possibilities such a quick mind could create in other scenarios! And that is what the colleague does at SAP. April is #AutismAcceptanceMonth, a time to educate ourselves, promote understanding, acceptance, and support for everyone on the spectrum. At the dawn of a new AI era, I’m excited that we’re also exploring how diversity & inclusion and #AI can intersect. In case you missed it, we hosted a virtual event for Autism Acceptance Month last week. SAP colleagues working in the AI and product inclusion space explored what inclusive AI development is and how the neurodivergent community can contribute to the future of AI, incorporating it into their professional and even personal lives. The recording is available to catch up: https://url.sap/1u5bae Supriya Jha, Sarah L. #NeurodiversityMatters #DiversityandInclusion
