Pure passion & fascination … 🏎 … and how we try to support students exploring necessary #futureskills 🔮 Yesterday I had the chance to visit the holy student racing car “wrought” of CURE Mannheim at the DHBW Mannheim. And let me tell you – it was extreemly exciting 👨🔧 More that 100 students from around 30 different courses form an interdisciplinary team living the motto: “Team work makes the dream work”. For me a remarkable slogan and absolutely fitting to this emotional journey they are able to live through 🎈 The Formula Student is an international design and construction competition for student teams. Target is to design and produce a single-seater e-racing car under real conditions and to compare with other self-constructed racing cars on defined racetracks in various disciplines 🏎 For the second year now, we are supporting this fascinating competition and the CURE team with #additivemanufacturing technologies out of our MANN+HUMMEL Prototyping Center 🤝 Beside my pure fascination to this “project” our motivation is not simply to act as a #sponsor, we believe that this competition is a perfect chance to prepare young talents with necessary skills for the future industrial environment 💻 Dealing with #digitalization, #sustainability and #speed means to use and establish #3dprinting as a driver for #innovation and as an enabling technology ✨ Yesterday I had the chance to explore a deep dive into the coming season of CURE on site and received some ultra exciting insights presented by the team members Runa Gottke and Johannes Schindler 🙏 I’m curious about the next developments and wish the team all the best for the challenges ahead 🍀 The pictures are showing the e-racing car CM-23X “Rennate” from the last season. And it was not so easy for an “old” man to slide into the seat - it took a while and was pretty tight 🏁 How do you support the coming generation in facing the challenges of the near #future?
