"Entrepreneurs then thoughtfully sequence these risk items against a timeline of capital raising to answer the biggest questions as early and cheaply as possible... But as we pursue harder things, some are getting carried away and throwing away the entire playbook by invoking a new word: 'moonshots'... when I pose these “startup physics” questions to a moonshot entrepreneur, they usually have a different kind of reply: 'No, we’re a moonshot so we don’t have to worry about that'" Wow, this resonates... I think some of this moonshot culture comes out of a big tech mindset where a) the revenue comes from somewhere else already b) they've earned the right to make really big bets without knowing exactly how it will play out c) frankly as much money as there is in the VC ecosystem, these companies are minting literally billions in profits/quarter. I do love that the VC ecosystem has deeper pockets and can make bigger bets, so it isn't just big tech making those bets. But the winners are absolutely going to be the companies that figure out how to build a real self-sustaining business alongside their tech. That's definitely our approach at Cobot. We're doing something super ambitious, but it's not just about the tech. Our ambition is to build the first trillion dollar robotics company. To do that, we absolutely have to build the business alongside the tech.

🔍 Enhance Skill Gap Analysis with Multi-Agents and LangGraph Staying ahead in tech means continuously bridging skill gaps. Our innovative approach with multi-agents and LangGraph boosts accuracy and efficiency in identifying and addressing these gaps. How It Works Think of our multi-agent system as a well-coordinated team. Each agent has a specialized role, like team members with specific expertise, and their work is continuously validated by their peers. Our Approach Gap Skills Detect Agent: Identifies skill gaps by analyzing profiles and job descriptions, like a team member who spots missing pieces in a puzzle. Routing Agent: Coordinates and ensures quality control, much like a project manager who checks everyone's work to ensure it aligns with the overall goal. Mentor Suggestion Agent: Matches candidates with mentors, similar to a career advisor pairing mentees with experienced professionals. Course Finding Agent: Recommends relevant courses, acting like a researcher finding the best resources for team training. Teamwork and Validation Each agent's output is validated by the routing agent, ensuring high standards and seamless integration of all parts. This is akin to a team leader who reviews the work of each member to ensure top quality before passing it on. Benefits Precision: High accuracy in detecting and addressing skill gaps. Scalability: Easily handles large datasets. Efficiency: Faster results through concurrent operations. Flexibility: Adaptable to various tasks beyond skill gap analysis. Ready to optimize your team's skills? Explore how our multi-agent approach can make a difference. #TechInnovation #SkillDevelopment #AI #LangGraph #CareerGrowth #TechTraining 👉 Read more on our blog! https://lnkd.in/ghBrq6hH

In the true spirit of embodying one of the defining leadership principles of Haas, "Student Always", I went back to school last week to learn more about how the combination of right strategy and culture can drive great outcomes for the organization. Prof. Jenny Chatman is the best in distilling the intricacies and challenges that executive leaders face today in an ever changing work environment. She gave us very valuable, actionable insights on how to become better leaders. I hope to employ these insights and awareness to help my organization achieve even better outcomes.

Jai OpenAI!! 🙏 Insanely Insane is here. GPT-4omni is out💯 I believe OpenAI has taken Tom Cruise lines literally to their heart: "I feel the need... the need for speed." Some crazy numbers they achieved in multilingual, audio and vision capabilities: 😎 1. 88.7% 0-shot COT Massive Multitask Language Understanding, like its around 8.28% higher than Gemini Pro 1.5. 2. 94.2% AI2D in test, compared to 80.3% of Google Gemini Pro 1.5 and 88.1% of Anthropic Claude Opus in Vision understanding. 3. Audio ASR performed much much better and effective, resulting over 100+% in Sub-Saharan Africa and around 55% increase in South-Asian audio. 🔴 IMP Noteups: 1. GPT-4o’s text and image capabilities have started to roll out yesterday in ChatGPT. 2. They are rolling out a new version of Voice Mode with GPT-4o in alpha within ChatGPT Plus in the coming weeks. 3. Developers can access GPT-4o in the API as a text and vision model. Looking forward to learn and delve deep into the model! 🤐 VC - OpenAI #openai #gpt4o #gpt4T #sora #ai #developer #software #ainews #northeastern #google #meta #softwaredeveloper #startups #investment #mlops #datascience #technews #data #api #perplexityai #harvard #california

It is important to revisit concepts that might have eluded me. Take the Intuit Lacerte Software Development Kit (SDK). For the non-programmers, a Software Development Kit is instructions and tools for connecting to local data sources. Think of them as APIs but for accessing local data and hardware instead of cloud data. The first time I looked at the Lacerte SDK over a decade ago, I did not understand how it worked. The best I was able to do was to pull basic client information (names and address) for generating mailing labels. This was before my firm was doing digital delivery. As I started using Robot Process Automation (RPA) tools to input data into Lacerte, I learned about batch input. This let me gain a new understanding of the structure of Lacerte's data. Just last winter, I built some RPA tools to read organizer PDFs from Lacerte to build Document Requests List in SafeSend and Firm360. This let me gain a new understanding of the flow of Lacerte's data. Just a month ago, I connected with TruePrep AI to build tools for inputting data into Lacerte. My original plan was an RPA method since it was something I was familiar with. In that moment, I had decided to take another look at the Lacerte SDK. With an additional 10+ years of experience in understanding Lacerte's data structure and data flow, the SDK all makes sense. In my excitement of applying new knowledge, I can now generate those previous Document Request Lists more efficiently as well as add, update, and delete data from Lacerte. What does this mean? It means, custom import tools that can be catered to a firm's workflow like trial balances, depreciation, etc. It is always important to revisit concepts that have been previously elusive. We are the sum of our experiences and even a few months (from winter to spring) can change how we find solutions to problems.

This might be my favorite podcast conversation of all time. I am very lucky to have Abhinav Asthana from Postman sit down for a podcast conversation. I've used Postman's positioning as an example many times. Abhinav has a great gut feel for this stuff, and it was awesome to pick his brain. A few areas we covered: 🎙 How Postman was originally positioned when the company first started 🎙 How the positioning evolved over time. 🎙 The specific positioning challenges they faced as the product matured. 🎙 Their concept of "an API-first world" and how that gets represented across their marketing and sales efforts. If you don't know Postman, trust me, your tech team does (Postman serves over 30 million developers across 500,000 companies and has a current valuation of $5.6 billion).
