Technica Engineering Inc. is a 100% subsidiary of Technica Engineering GmbH in Munich, Germany. We are a manufacturing electrical engineering company with currently 800 employees at five locations in the global group of companies and speccialized in the niche of automotive electronics development since 2008. We are specialized in securing and testing electronic devices in electrical vehicle systems and in consulting automobile manufacturers and their suppliers in the field of E/E. Our core competence is located in the know-how on current development topics of the car manufacturers, such as control units, on-board network communication and automated driver assistance systems. We are developing and producing all our products by ourselves and provide a high quality of measuring tools.

The capture modules from Technica Engineering were developed to record vehicle communication technologies (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, LIN and Automotive Ethernet) in a distributed, modular and scalable manner. This allows users maximum flexibility and cost efficiency through reusability. At the same time, the data recorder from b-plus not only impresses with its high performance and robust hardware, but with AVETO.dps also offers a software solution that makes it possible to log data rates of over 100 Gbit/s precisely and synchronously. 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒃𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕 𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒔? The volume of data has increased dramatically in recent years, particularly in the ADAS/AD environment. In addition, the communication technologies used, such as the SerDes solutions used, are changing. A modular and powerful complete solution is therefore essential in order to protect the customer's investment and at the same time achieve high data quality. The increased use of SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) architectures will further intensify the trend towards more data with increasing demands on data quality over the next few years. The use of the new and open protocol standard ASAM CMP will play a key role in future-proofing the system. It provides the basis for modern, distributed and time-synchronized data recording and is supported by b-plus and Technica Engineering. Thanks to its outstanding scalability, it can be used cost-effectively in test vehicles, vehicles, functional tests and complex test benches (HiL, system network test benches, LabCar, etc.) and in practically all vehicle domains. VECS (VEHICLE ELECTRONICS & CONNECTED SERVICES) is one of the largest automotive events in Northern Europe, focusing on autonomy, electrification, connected vehicles, and mobility. Technica has been participating annually since 2019. This year, we were track sponsors, which allowed us to present on one of the technical tracks of the event. We had an incredible time showcasing our advanced technologies and meeting so many enthusiastic and talented individuals. 𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐒 & 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐕𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨 Our team introduced the Technica Engineering TestBench, designed for logging in-vehicle network technologies like LIN, CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet. Key features included Capture Modules for timestamping data, Enhanced Ethernet Switches for data aggregation, and a Data Acquisition PC as the central hub. We also showcased ANDi Integration for synchronized traffic injection. 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨 We showcased our Multigigabit products, highlighting their impact on AD, ADAS, and Infotainment with speeds of 2.5/5/10GBASE-T1.
