We are proud to share that Dawar Jahangir (student of Dr. Syed), and RRC team members Dr. Irtaza Syed (Senior Electrical Project Engineer), Yi Meng (VP of Engineering), and Benjamin Davis (Senior Director of Electrical Engineering) have co-authored a significant paper, "Standalone hybrid PV/MHP/BES system sizing with complementarity adjustment," published in the International Journal of Sustainable Engineering Their research introduces a new method for sizing standalone hybrid PV/MHP/BES systems, enhancing both cost-effectiveness and efficiency. This innovative approach optimizes the complementarity between variable renewable energy resources, significantly improving load sharing and reducing operational costs. I had the chance to get out to one of our recently constructed line designs in Michigan. It's always satisfying to see a design in the real world. I swear this one had almost every structure type and arrangement imaginable for a 138 kV line.
