Meet another one of our summer public affairs fellows, Story Everett! Story is a Virginia native, originally from Alexandria, VA and a recent graduate of Virginia Tech. In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts!

It's summer, but PLUS University is still in session! 🎒 Our seasoned staff members from the digital, research and public affairs departments have spent the summer holding learning sessions for our summer fellows and newer employees on best practices, basic skills, and what we do here at PLUS – making sure our newest PLUS members are well-equipped to succeed in the world of marketing and public affairs!

Meet one of our 2024 summer fellows, Alyssa Gruneberg! Alyssa is originally from Columbia, M.D. and recently graduated from Gettysburg College. 📣 Our Richmond office is growing! We are excited to share that our office in Richmond, Virginia is welcoming Tess Glancey (Senior Director, Public Affairs) and Claire Rooney (Associate, Public Affairs) to our team! With their talent and experience in public policy, national media and the public sector, we are confident that, with their help, we are primed to meet the growing needs of our clients. This #MemorialDay we honor those who served our nation and made the ultimate sacrifice for our country’s freedom.

PLUS was proud to win Best in Public Affairs at PRWeek’s annual Healthcare Awards on behalf of our work for Telehealth Access for America (TAFA)! PLUS worked with TAFA to launch a public education campaign supported by more than two dozen leading organizations in health care and consumer advocacy. Through this work, we helped our client achieve a successful extension of critical pandemic-era telehealth flexibilities through 2024. The campaign continues to grow and advocate for Congress to pass permanent reforms to safeguard access to virtual care.

In late 2022, PLUS Communications marked a significant milestone when it opened its third office in Austin, Texas. Since that time, PLUS’ Lone Star State team has grown to seven members who lead our Texas-based issue advocacy and media campaigns for corporations, trade associations, non-profits and coalitions.
