We had a great site visit to the City of Carmel. Carmel, Indiana is home to the most roundabouts in the country, but there's so much more to see. It's a beautiful, walkable city with great bike trails, a top-notch performing arts center, and lots of places to hang out. The food was delicious, and the locals were super friendly and welcoming.

my theme of “cloudy but lovely” site visits for North Star Place Branding + Marketing continues with the City of Auburn, AL! ⛅️ a couple weeks ago, I had the absolute privilege of visiting this Alabama gem, and exploring all that it has to offer, including both art and natural beauty that took my breath away in equal measures, a restaurant scene fit for a foodie like me, and, of course, the famous Toomer’s lemonade and all the sweetness that came with it (from the drink AND from the people serving it!). 🍋 as an alumna from a university with zero football presence (😘 love you University of North Florida), I never thought I’d find myself in Auburn of all places. but this vibrant and burgeoning city felt comfortable and welcoming from the get-go. my time here was too short, and i already have a long list of places to visit on my next trip. don’t you just love places like that?

another one for the travel books: the City of Carmel, Indiana! this is a place that definitely has to be seen, explored, and experienced to be believed….the gorgeous April weather and a little free time on two wheels didn’t hurt either. 🚲 we’re working with Carmel (pronounced like the candy, not like the Californians! 😉) to help them uncover their true brand and better communicate just what is so special about this place. spoiler alert: it’s not just the roundabouts, even though it IS home to the most roundabouts in the country. 🫨🌀 the people of Carmel showed the North Star Place Branding + Marketing team so much love while we were there last week, and it’s on my list of places that i’ll be telling my friends about forever.
