Empowering people to take ownership of their health through Foundational Nutrition.

About us

At the heart of AG1 (Athletic Greens) lies a commitment to our mission, to empower people to take ownership of their health. Since 2010, we've dedicated ourselves to enhancing our formula to bring Foundational Nutrition to people around the world. Our approach is deeply rooted in science, with a continuous pursuit of excellence. We leverage and contribute to the latest research to deliver a powerful, straightforward solution for optimal health to our customers. We harness the finest ingredients so that every scoop or travel packet when mixed with 8 ounces of water, gives you the nutrients you need with the simplicity you want in a daily routine. Likewise, our organization puts the same energy into creating an environment that is a reflection of the cultural values that define who we are and how we work together. These seven values— One Spectacular Life, Customer Centric, Radical Ownership, High Performance, Courage, Good Humans and Continuous Improvement—are a representation of the high standards we set, and hold ourselves accountable to, when it comes to building our team around the globe.

Kat Cole, President and COO, took the stage at WSJ Global Food Forum to share her views on the industry, raising the bar on quality and standards, and why she chose to focus on health and wellness after a decade at Focus Brands. “We make one green powder, and we’ve been working on perfecting it for the past 14 years. Everything we do affects the one thing we do. So we have to hold ourselves to the highest standard.”  - Kat Cole Thank you The Wall Street Journal and Kim Last for inviting us to Chicago for the conversation. 10-time World Record Holder.   New York Times best-selling author.  Entrepreneur.  Nonprofit Founder of Beyond 7/2. Professional athlete. Father.  We’re excited to welcome Colin O'Brady officially to the AG1 community. Colin sets out on June 15th to compete in the Race Across America (RAAM) for his SUB6 Project where he will attempt to smash another World Record alongside his childhood best friend. RAAM is one of the longest, most difficult cycling events in the world covering 3,000 miles coast to coast across the USA.  Colin has been training over the past 12 months for RAAM and while his training may vary from day to day, AG1 is an easy way for him to prioritize his health and wellness consistently. Follow Colin as he races across the US at @colinobrady on Instagram.

Most supplements rely on third-party ingredient research to validate their claims. We took it one step further (three, actually). We’re proud to share the results of three new research studies on AG1. Our in-house Research team worked with independent scientists and labs to conduct a pilot set of studies on the complete AG1 formula. Our commitment to research is ongoing, and we’ll use these results and learnings to power the development of future studies. The methodology, full results, and links to peer-reviewed publications are available on drinkag1.com.

It’s why we’ve made 52 iterations of AG1 since launch, and why we’re constantly improving our processes to do more good for people and the planet. Community is everything. Last week, we hosted two events in Austin: our second community dinner and a Runday. Wednesday’s dinner was a taco tasting menu at Nixta Taqueria with 20 guests—all of whom are building local communities in their own way, many through sustainable food ecosystems. Everyone went home with beautiful arrangements courtesy of Emily Reid of Gypsy Floral and, of course, some AG1. On Saturday, about 40 runners showed up at Nixta, drank some AG1, and set off for 3.1 miles. AG1’s own Ngozi Musa led the run with Chef Philip Speer, of Comedor Restaurant and Run Club (introduced to us by Nixta co-owner Sara Mardanbigi!) After, we all hung out, while refueling with delicious Nixta breakfast tacos—an Austin staple. Austin, we loved spending time with you and your tight-knit community and we can’t wait to be back! 📸 Pierce Townsend
