Community is everything. Last week, we hosted two events in Austin: our second community dinner and a Runday. Wednesday’s dinner was a taco tasting menu at Nixta Taqueria with 20 guests—all of whom are building local communities in their own way, many through sustainable food ecosystems. Everyone went home with beautiful arrangements courtesy of Emily Reid of Gypsy Floral and, of course, some AG1. On Saturday, about 40 runners showed up at Nixta, drank some AG1, and set off for 3.1 miles. AG1’s own Ngozi Musa led the run with Chef Philip Speer, of Comedor Restaurant and Run Club (introduced to us by Nixta co-owner Sara Mardanbigi!) After, we all hung out, while refueling with delicious Nixta breakfast tacos—an Austin staple. Austin, we loved spending time with you and your tight-knit community and we can’t wait to be back! 📸 Pierce Townsend
