Dialogue Initiatives

Our Dialogues Across Difference Initiatives offer engaging opportunities for students to refine and apply their skills in communicating with others across a range of topics and perspectives. In an increasingly polarized world, the ability to engage in civil discourse is essential for professional success. These initiatives aim to cultivate spaces where we can engage with each other with curiosity and mutual respect, expanding our collective opportunity to learn from one another.

E&I Fellows Program

The E&I Fellows Program offers immersive training in communication, facilitation, and cultural awareness to a cohort of 12 upper level law students. The Fellows are trained to lead conversations about challenging topics in law school, so that they can carry these skills into the legal profession. More information about the E&I Fellows Program can be found here.

Tables for 10

E&I is hosting “kitchen table” conversations for small groups of students to discuss timely issues while sharing a meal. These conversations, hosted in the E&I Community Space, aim to cultivate community through increased opportunities to practice dialogue and promote mutual understanding. In the Spring of 2024, our theme will be Dialogue and Democracy. Specific dates and opportunities to sign up will be coming soon.
