We're proud to announce the winners of this year's INEOS Master Thesis Award, which celebrates the best #sustainability theses. The winners were recognised at the Università di Pisa: - Eleonora Micheli - for her thesis on "Iron chloride/polyacrylic acid systems for the depolymerization of polyethylene terephthalate (PET): study and process optimization” - Andrea Lusci Gemignani - for his work on "Treatment of waste biomass with the hydrothermal carbonization process (HTC)”. Congratulations to the winners for their excellent work!

The Belgian Hydrogen Council has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NLHydrogen and the German National Hydrogen Council, consolidating their commitment to joint initiatives which promote North-West Europe’s hydrogen economy. Wouter Bleukx, our Hydrogen Business Director who is a board member said: “We are proud of this collaboration, which will help facilitate the transition to a #hydrogen economy in Europe. It brings together key stakeholders from the North-West region including industry, government, universities and research institutes to accelerate future #innovation and #sustainability.”
This morning, Belgian Hydrogen Council, NLHydrogen, and the German National Hydrogen Council signed a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding to advance the hydrogen economy in Europe ✍🏼 The MOU builds upon the longstanding history of #cooperation and mutual support among Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. It seeks to establish a platform for collaboration among #industry, #government, #universities, #researchinstitutes, and #civilsociety to promote innovation and sustainability in the hydrogen sector. Key objectives of the MOU include: 🔬 Facilitating collaborative publications, promoting the widespread adoption of hydrogen technologies ⚡ Supporting the integration of hydrogen into the renewable energy landscape in alignment with European policies such as RED II/III (Renewable Energy Directive II/III).
