Over the last few months, our team has been researching how young Black girls engage in sports, fitness and movement. Did you know, that only *36% of Black girls in England are meeting the recommended activity levels? Also, Black girls enjoying physical activity has plummeted from 50% to 39% in the past 5 years.   So to address this, we’re excited to introduce the ‘SUMMER OF SPORTS’ - a new project kicking off with inspiring events empowering Black girls aged 15-18 through sport, movement and play. 🏀 This August, we aim to support over 100+ of the least active girls to engage in a summer of workshops, self-development and wellness.   Watch this space for more info on how to get involved 🎉🚀 #BGFSummerOfSports #SummerSeries * Sport England Children and Young People Survey 2022-23
