Wayanad or Rae Bareli, which to quit? My call will make people at both seats happy: Rahul

KOZHIKODE: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who won in Wayanad and Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituencies, said during his Wayanad visit that he was in a dilemma over which of the two he should represent in Parliament. "Everybody knows the answer except me. In politics, everybody knows everything except the person who is doing it," he said. At meetings in Edavanna, Malappuram and Kalpetta, Wayanad, he said that the people of Wayanad and Rae Bareli will be happy with his decision.
Rahul at his thanksgiving rally in Rae Bareli on Tuesday had not talked about his dilemma.But he did so in Wayanad a day later.
Hinting that he might relinquish Wayanad seat, Rahul said the people of Wayanad had showered him with love and support, which is much beyond elections and votes. "You have treated me as family and I can never thank you enough for that. I will remember it all my life," he said.
Also, Congress-UDF activists were seen holding a banner near Kalpetta meeting venue which read, "Dear big brother Rahulji, please don't leave us. You are our best hope. But if you must, please ask sister Priyankaji to take care of us."
The banner was put up in the name of the Wayanad UDF. Taking a swipe at PM Modi, Rahul said, "Unfortunately, I do not have this luxury (of getting instructions from God) as I'm human and God doesn't order me. For me, it is simpler. My god is the poor people of India. My god is the people of Wayanad. I just talk to people and my god tells me what to do," he said, adding that the new NDA govt in Delhi was "crippled" after being beaten by the INDIA bloc.
