Vanaf september 2024 zullen bedrijven die douaneaangiftes doen, maandelijks een specificatie ontvangen bij de Mededeling Afloop Betalingstermijn (MAB). Dit besluit volgt op de beëindiging van het Overzicht gedane aangifte (OGA), waardoor bedrijven minder goed in staat waren om de administratie van de Douane te controleren tegen hun eigen administratie. Deze nieuwe specificatie helpt u om beter uw douaneadministratie te controleren. Tevens heeft er een technisch probleem plaatsgevonden in het DMS-systeem waardoor een aantal aangiften dubbel belast zijn. Dit probleem betrof aangiften die voor 20 april voorlopig waren en tussen 20 april en 21 mei definitief werden. From now on, the Netherlands will adhere to the European Commission's interpretation. This change means that shipments from a country other than the expansion country can still be considered as 'shipped from' the expansion country. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮? • Application from April 4, 2024: Customs will apply this new interpretation to shipments declared from this date onwards. • Assembly in Third Countries: Goods assembled in third countries, but with components from extension countries, may be subject to extended anti-dumping and countervailing duties. • Financial Impact: Companies must consider possible additional costs and reassessments. Eind mei zal de Nederlandse Emissieautoriteit (NEa) controles uitvoeren bij houders van een Accijns Goederenplaats (AGP) vergunning. Tijdens deze controles zullen de inspecteurs monsters nemen van de opgeslagen brandstoffen om te verifiëren of deze daadwerkelijk biogeen zijn. Deze monsternames zijn cruciaal om de betrouwbaarheid en authenticiteit van het biologische karakter van de brandstoffen te waarborgen. #SGSMaco #Customs #Trade #NEa #AGP

Het Europees Parlement heeft op 24 april groen licht gegeven voor een historische wet die grote bedrijven verplicht om mensenrechten en het milieu te beschermen in hun toeleveringsketens. De nieuwe richtlijn over Internationaal maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen (iMVO), plaatst leefbare inkomens, verantwoorde inkoop en duurzame praktijken centraal voor alle grote bedrijven die actief zijn in Europa. De Douane Tarief Voorziening (DTV), ook bekend als het gebruikstarief, is een onmisbare webpagina voor professionals in de handel en logistiek. Het biedt een schat aan informatie over goederencodes, invoerrechten, handelsovereenkomsten en wetgeving die essentieel is voor een soepele internationale handel. Recentelijk stuitten wij erop dat de vertrouwde URL van de Douane Tarief Voorziening plotseling leidde naar een foutmelding. Per 1 mei 2024 zal de Douane geen kopieën en digitale varianten van herkomst- en oorsprongscertificaten meer accepteren. Dit betekent dat originele documenten van cruciaal belang zullen zijn voor importprocessen. In het kader van de pan-Euromediterrane overeenkomst (PEM) blijven e-certificaten uit Israël, Marokko, Noorwegen en Turkije onder bepaalde voorwaarden wel nog geldig.
