The USS Alita (NCC-97305) was a Federation starship, the prototype Alita-class heavy escort carrier in Starfleet service in . The ship was developed by early 25th century. Starfleet Corps of Engineers constructed the Alita at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards, based on the successful Armitage-class heavy escort carrier. Service history[]

The Alita participated in various engagements between the Federation and hostile parties, first seeing action in the Iconian War. (STO video game: The Iconian War)

In the year 2410, the Alita led a flotilla of tier 6 starships from the Alpha Quadrant Alliance, including the USS Europa, USS Narendra, USS Shikaris, RRW Laeosa and the IKS Negh'Tev, on a warp-flight. From 2410 onward, the Alita represented its class on he Starfleet Shipyards Operations interface at Khitomer Alliance shipyard facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

Khitomer Alliance flag officers deployed the Alita for missions around the galaxy's four quadrants as part of the four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
