For other uses, see Lara.

Lara was a 23rd century Human woman, a hunter known for having a flawless sense of direction.

Biography[]

Lara was an acknowledged leader in tracking and an expert at hunting, with highly professional combat skills. She was also very lucky. (Stardate Magazine vol. 1, Issue 3/4: "Personnel File - UFP: Lara")

She was quite agile, with a higher leaping ability than one might expect. (TAS - Log Five novelization: The Jihad)

Her clothing hid incense, sensors, spices, and some alcohol. (ST video game: Timelines)

Her homeworld's population was overwhelmingly female, leading to a custom of being forthright about relationships.

In the year 2270, she was recruited by the Vedala along with James T. Kirk, Spock, Sord, and Em/3/Green to join Prince Tchar on an expedition to recover a stolen religious artifact whose loss would drive the Skorr into a frenzied war against the galaxy. (TAS episode & Log Five novelization: The Jihad)

Alternate timelines[]

In an alternate timeline beset by the temporal anomaly crisis, Lara was pulled into the late 24th century. Lara's skills qualified her as a survivalist hunter. She was also skilled in the fields of command, diplomacy and security. Among the equipment she brought to bear in missions were a photon grenade, phaser, hunting rope, and whisky. (ST video game: Timelines)

The unofficial Concordance and Stardate Magazine identified her as completely Human, while the novelization called her humanoid and ST website: StarTrek.com called her "mostly human" in appearance.
