As a mathematician my research interest is the broad area of Combinatorics on Words. In 2022 I put my MSc dissertation "Substitution drawing rules on the Fibonacci Words" on arxiv (https://arxiv.org/abs/2304.00458)

Current interest (2024) is focussed upon three letter substitutions, especially Pisot numbers. I have a paper soon (March 2025) to be published in The Mathematical Gazette; "Aperiodic Engineering from a combinatorics on words point of view".

I'm proud to have taught for many years at Shrewsbury School, England, (Voted "Independent School of the Year 2020").
