On 18 June 2024, we hosted our Annual Kaizen Convention 2024 in our Manufacturing Facilities, Vallam & Oragadam. Kaizen Convention is a day dedicated to recognizing the incredible contributions of our teams and individuals who embody the spirit of excellence, innovation, and improvement. The event was a splendid showcase of the innovative ideas and collaborative efforts that drive Royal Enfield’s success. This year we were thrilled to receive an impressive 21,054 Kaizens and 124 Small Group Activity (SGA) projects, showcasing our commitment to driving progress and improvement. Our COO Mahesh Tripathi delivered the keynote address and applauded the Kaizen contributors. A special highlight was honouring our outstanding Kaizen contributors, whose dedication to refining processes and finding efficiencies significantly impacts our operations. We also applauded the best Small Group Activity teams for their tireless support in fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In addition, we took the opportunity to celebrate our employees who represented Royal Enfield with distinction at various external events like the Chennai Chapter Quality Circle Convention (CCQCC), National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC) & International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC). Our employees’ passion and expertise reflect our high standards in all our endeavours. The Kaizen Convention is more than just an event; it's a testament to our commitment to progress, teamwork, and the belief that each individual can make a difference. We had our much-anticipated Annual Supplier Meet in Chennai on the 21st and 22nd of May. Each year, this crucial gathering, with our leadership coming together with our suppliers to align on our strategic goals, paves the way for more collaboration and support in driving future successes and achieving new milestones. The event commenced with an inspiring address by our CEO, B Govinda Rajan, and was followed by insightful presentations and business updates from our COO Mahesh Tripathi, and our Head of Sourcing and Logistics, Vivek Agrawal, offering valuable perspectives on the organisation’s direction and market outlook. One of the most anticipated segments of the meet was the Annual Supplier Awards ceremony, where over 50 supplier partners were honoured over the two days. The awards were distributed across different categories, showcasing Royal Enfield's deep appreciation for its vendor partners and their contributions to the company's success. This year, our valued supplier, Thirupathi Industries, was honoured for their 50-year partnership with Royal Enfield. The event also featured a Q&A session with our management, underscoring our commitment to transparency and open communication. This segment allowed our supplier partners to engage directly with the leadership panel, addressing their queries and concerns. The meeting concluded with social and networking opportunities, providing a relaxed environment for all invitees to connect and build stronger relationships.
