On 18 June 2024, we hosted our Annual Kaizen Convention 2024 in our Manufacturing Facilities, Vallam & Oragadam. Kaizen Convention is a day dedicated to recognizing the incredible contributions of our teams and individuals who embody the spirit of excellence, innovation, and improvement. The event was a splendid showcase of the innovative ideas and collaborative efforts that drive Royal Enfield’s success. This year we were thrilled to receive an impressive 21,054 Kaizens and 124 Small Group Activity (SGA) projects, showcasing our commitment to driving progress and improvement. Our COO Mahesh Tripathi delivered the keynote address and applauded the Kaizen contributors. A special highlight was honouring our outstanding Kaizen contributors, whose dedication to refining processes and finding efficiencies significantly impacts our operations. We also applauded the best Small Group Activity teams for their tireless support in fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In addition, we took the opportunity to celebrate our employees who represented Royal Enfield with distinction at various external events like the Chennai Chapter Quality Circle Convention (CCQCC), National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC) & International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC). Our employees’ passion and expertise reflect our high standards in all our endeavours. The Kaizen Convention is more than just an event; it's a testament to our commitment to progress, teamwork, and the belief that each individual can make a difference. We take this opportunity to congratulate every single employee who has invested their efforts to contribute to the whooping number of Kaizen ideas. 3wHi Mahesh, Royal Enfield Quality has scaled up phenomenally. I've been a customer of Enfield and Royal Enfield since 1988 when we bought Silver Plus and then Thunder bird in 2010, Meteor 350 in 2020 and finally the most recent Super Meteor in 2023. Every bike has been better than the previous, however, the quality improvement in last 4 to 5 years has been exponential. It would be wonderful if there is a way to communicate this appreciation to the folks back there who have been making this happen. I'm typing this after returning back from an amazing 120 kms morning ride on the Super Meteor and I can't appreciate every person who are conceptualizing, designing,manufacturing, retailing and Servicing these lovely dream on two wheels.
