100 Millionen E-Rezepte wurden in den deutschen #Arztinformationssystemen von #CGM ausgestellt. CGM ist damit der erste Praxissoftware-Anbieter, der diese Marke überschreitet. Mehr als 32 Prozent aller E-Rezepte, die in deutschen Arztpraxen erzeugt werden, werden über die Systeme von CGM verarbeitet. Dazu äußert sich Dr. Ulrich Thomé, Geschäftsführender Direktor Ambulatory Information Systems DACH. Das E-Rezept ist in Deutschland zum Standard geworden: Laut gematik GmbH wurden insgesamt inzwischen über 280 Millionen E-Rezepte eingelöst. In der Spitze sind es bis zu 2,4 Millionen digitale Verordnungen am Tag. Mehr als 84.000 medizinische Einrichtungen stellen E-Rezepte aus und über 17.000 Apotheken lösen E-Rezepte ein. CGM has received #C5 #attestation (Type 1) for cloud services in Germany in accordance with the criteria of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Cloud products of #CGM have been attested compliance with C5 criteria retroactively as of May 31, 2024 by an independent auditing company. The German Digital Act (DigiG) prescribes C5 (Type 1) as the security standard for cloud services in the German healthcare and social services sector from July 1, 2024. C5 (Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue) was developed by the BSI and specifies requirements for #secure #cloud #computing. It contains more than 120 security criteria, including the areas of #information #security organization, physical security, regular operations, #portability and #interoperability. The C5 attestation provides customers with important guidance when selecting a cloud provider and supports healthcare professionals in meeting the strict requirements for information security. The company, which was founded in 2013, develops and distributes an ambulatory information system, which is completely web-based and modelled to reflect actual doctors’ workflow thus achieving great user experience.   Michael Rauch, CEO of CompuGroup Medical, explains: "CGM has been driving innovation in ambulatory information systems in the Nordics for more than a decade, in line with our purpose that nobody should suffer or die because at some point medical information was missing. For example, an innovative sustainability concept including the use of geothermal energy now ensures that the heating and cooling of many buildings on the CGM company premises in Koblenz will save up to 123,000 kilograms of CO2 annually in the future. Yesterday, our company founder and Chairman of the Administrative Board Frank Gotthardt unveiled the street artwork on our energy center at the headquarters in Koblenz. Art-EFX from Potsdam near Berlin had painted the four walls with the challenges of mankind: Peaceful coexistence and innovation-driving competition between human beings and nations, eco-friendly energy generation, medical progress for a long and healthy life and the conquest of space. CompuGroup Medical acquires AmbulApps GmbH, a #specialist in #digital #anamnesis #tools. Founded in Neuss in 2015, the company organizes, digitizes and structures the collection of data from and about patients. CompuGroup Medical will #integrate AmbulApps' applications into its #portfolio of #solutions and further develop them.   AmbulApps offers solutions for digital patient information, anamnesis in the waiting room, home visits, the creation of treatment plans and the documentation of medical interventions. Data is stored in existing systems as documents and structured information. This reduces workload and optimizes information systems, especially in practices that were previously mostly paper-based. At CompuGroup Medical, the first quarter of the year was marked by the accelerating #digitization of the European #healthcare sector with #increasing digital exchange of documents within two of CGM’s major markets. In #Germany, the number of e-prescriptions has increased strongly post becoming mandatory in January 2024. In #France, the number of digital health documents per month increased by more than 160% within less than a year after the rollout of the first wave of Segur, the government initiative for the digitization of ambulatory healthcare. In the #US, the team is set for the second wave of the rollout of the reimbursement & clearinghouse solution eMEDIX. In the #hospital #business, CGM continues to see high interest for its CGM Clinical software, supported by the continuing rollout of the order backlog for projects relating to the Hospital Future Act.
