Aaand we have the big winners of the Bug Hunt 2024. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝟖𝟎𝟎 𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐰, formed by two of our senior QAs: Petruta-Bogdana Patrichi and Radu Azamfirei. Bogdana is a CGMer for one month and Radu has more than 6 years within CGM. The funny thing is that they were combined by the organizers for this event, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭. But it seems that they did a great job together, because their individual experience as seniors in QA and as humans after 40 really helped them win this competition. We also want to congratulate all the participating teams, but mostly the ones on the podium, because they were so close to win this: - 2𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒: 𝐁𝐔𝐆 𝐌𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐚 – Alexandru Sima and Malina Iurcu - 3𝑟𝑑 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒: 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐬 – Andrei Lefter and Anemaria Ciobotaru Until our next edition, we wish all our QAs to hunt down all the bugs and encourage them to become organizers of more future great QA events within CGM.

At 6 PM, the teams will deliver their presentations. Until then, we let them work in silence and we present you 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐁𝐮𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭 (from left to right): -        Marina Dan, QA Automation Engineer -        Codrin Păduraru, QA Professional -        Silviu Pascariu, FrontEnd Developer from the winning team of the Hackathon -        Alexandra Chircu, QA, Team Lead and Owner of the Bug Hunt 2024 (we will tell you more about Alexandra next week, after she will sleep and recover) -        Nicolae Plăcintă, QA Automation Engineer and Mentor for QA Community -        Denis Crusos, BackEnd Developer from the winning team of the Hackathon -        Emil Oprea, Functional Lead on Product Owners Community They are the CGMers who will decide the champions of the day, so stay close to find out what they decide and what team is going home with 800 euros.

He said that CGM is the workplace where he stayed the longest. And we are more than happy and honored to work with him in all these years. Because Stefan Curcan is the perfect example of 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 (our 4 values), always ready to deliver great service and to help his colleagues. A great professional who knows how to have fun, delighting us with his knowledge and his funny jokes. Stefan was essential in the smooth running of the Bug Hunt primarily because he was our DevOps and deployed our little app on a server so that everyone can access it, saving us the trouble of having to install java, nodejs and docker on all the participants machines. He also helped in the crisis when the calls the app made to ChatCGM were not allowed on the hosted environment by replacing the endpoint with the official openAI API and his own personal API key. Thank you, Ștefan. For being such an important part of the Bug Hunt, but mostly for being such an important part of CGM.

Two years ago, we started the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 within CGM Software Romania, driven by Péter Iszak from onTarget Consulting with exceptional quality. A long-term program, with a complex structure, meant to establish a common language around leadership and to help CGM Software Romania to continue to be a fun place to work, consistently grow, and meet clients and CGMers needs. Now, Peter was back again in Iași, for another step of the program and for another insightful 3-day training called „𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 & 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞”. „𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑖𝑚 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑚 𝑖𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑠ℎ 𝑓𝑙𝑒𝑥𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑎𝑛 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑏𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑙𝑢𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑦. „𝑃𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑦” ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑑𝑜 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑙𝑢𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑏𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑠𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑟 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑏𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠. Razvan Cucu is one of the funniest and one of the most talkative CGMers we know, with more than 5 years within CGM. He is more than the Functional Lead on UX Community, he is an excellent professional and an amazing human. Last evening, he was the host of „𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬”, so he went out to dinner on us with 3 lucky CGMers: Mara-Victoria Murariu (Senior Product Architect on CLICKDOC France), Iulian Bercuci (our Sys Admin) and Mihai Sitaru (FrontEnd Developer on CLICKDOC Web). Mihai is the newest CGMers between them, with 10 months within CGM. So, it was the first time when he registered and when he got selected. Let`s see what he has to say about the evening and the concept: „𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑚 𝑎𝑓𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑙𝑎𝑠𝑡 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑥𝑒𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑛 𝑎 𝑑𝑖𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑒𝑛𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡, 𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘. It`s like Mihai has read our minds because we also wanted to grow the concept to the next level and improve it. So, say no more, Mihai. We are preparing new editions for 2025. Until then, our curious and sociable CGMers can register for July`s host, the one and only Roxana-Andreea Cretu, Senior HR Consultant. The other most talkative person within CGM.

Now we know why the national football team of Romania lost on Saturday. It was weekend, and we didn`t see the game together. Last evening we gathered again after work and watched Slovakia-Romania together at the office. And yes, Romania made it through to the round of 16, after another incredible and intense game. More than that, yesterday was Romania`s National Flag Day, so it was double the joy and the pride. The victory was a testament to Romania's unity, tactical discipline, and unwavering spirit, earning them everyone`s admiration. We meet again on July the 2nd for another passionate game and strong opponent – The Netherlands. Until then, we are sending all our support and good energy to our amazing players, thanking them for all these extraordinary emotions and for showing us what a strong unite determined team can achieve. #HaiRomania #LuptamImpreuna #GeneratiaDeSuflet #Dedication #Camaraderie

A few months ago, Ciprian delivered a very appreciated training for our Product Owners and Scrum Masters called „𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬”. That was the moment when he recommended the participants the book „𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐩” by Erin Meyer, so we decided to pick it for our book club and, of course, invite Ciprian as well, for a good talk. „𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑛 Andreea 𝑖𝑛𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝐶𝐺𝑀`𝑠 𝑏𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑐𝑙𝑢𝑏 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑜𝑙𝑑 𝑚𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑑, 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑒𝑑, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼 𝑖𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑑. See you next month, for another insightful book and another good talk within „CGM in bookland”. Until then, continue reading and investing in yourself.

We love to learn, and we love to have fun. Combined, there we have our 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐞𝐬. Yesterday, we enjoyed another one, this time perfectly organized by Alexandru Luca, Team Lead and Functional Lead on BackEnd Community, who delighted us with a new Java edition. 1 hour, 2 countries, 3 rounds and unlimited fun, learning and bonding. And there we have our top winners: 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 – Catalin Feidi, Functional Lead on BE within CGM Software Romania and a veteran of our quizzes, who is also preparing an International General Technical Fun Quiz in Autumn. 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 – Mircea Dobreanu, BackEnd Developer on Smart Update within CGM Software Romania, at his first win. 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 – Merlin Köhler, Software Developer on CLICKDOC Consumer within CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA Germany, the big winner of our last International Technical Quiz and a great professional who immediately became a very special friend. While we say Congrats to all the winners for their success and to Alex for the perfect organization and his constant involvement, we encourage you to create opportunities like these and to support your colleagues so they can always learn together. #Professionalism #Purpose #Dedication #Camaraderie

Recently, 4 CGMers within the QA Community attended Romanian Testing Conference, that took place between 12 and 14 of June in Cluj-Napoca. Gabriela Gavril, Alexandra Haleța, Bianca Ioana Bălteanu and Alexandru Cristian Dieaconu represented CGM Software Romania and unleashed together the hidden potential in testing. Bianca Bălteanu is a CGMer for almost 2 years now, although we feel like she is here forever. She is not only a very good QA and Scrum Master, working on CLICKDOC Consumer Web project, but also a very charismatic and involved colleague, ready to absorb all the information around her and really determined to grow. She wanted so bad to participate in RTC, that she actually postponed her final exam from Master, at Organizational Design. She regrets nothing, because she simply loved the experience, she would repeat it again and again, and she would definitely recommend it to all the testers out there. „𝐷𝑢𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑓𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒, 𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑜𝑛 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑡𝑜 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑙𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑡𝑠.
