CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA strengthens its market position in Northern Europe with the acquisition of the Norwegian software company Pridok AS. The company, which was founded in 2013, develops and distributes an ambulatory information system, which is completely web-based and modelled to reflect actual doctors’ workflow thus achieving great user experience. Michael Rauch, CEO of CompuGroup Medical, explains: "CGM has been driving innovation in ambulatory information systems in the Nordics for more than a decade, in line with our purpose that nobody should suffer or die because at some point medical information was missing. With the acquisition of Pridok, we are adding a state-of-the-art, web-based AIS that is precisely tailored to the requirements of our customers in the Scandinavian markets." The acquisition strengthens CGM's excellent market position and creates the opportunity to offer CGM customers in Northern Europe a purely web-based solution. Embarking on Operational Excellence at Ypsomed 🚀 In my role at Ypsomed, my focus is set squarely on achieving operational excellence in the global industrialisation of our Diabetes Care Line. For me, this translates to a strategic effort to enhance our time to market. Although I'm still in the early stages of my journey with Ypsomed, I'm already contemplating key considerations for driving operational efficiency: 1. Direct Impact Focus: Industrialisation involves a web of internal and external stakeholders. To navigate this complexity effectively, prioritise your attention on areas where your influence is direct. Leave processes further down the line for later consideration. 2. Balancing Efficacy and Quality: In the pursuit of efficiency, never compromise on quality. Our products profoundly impact millions of lives, and stringent processes are in place to ensure their safe creation and usage. While these processes may extend our time to market, they serve as critical safeguards against the risks associated with malfunctioning products, benefiting both patients and the company. 3. Start Small, Scale Wisely: The temptation to make a sweeping impact or implement proven methods on a large scale is common. However, recognising the unique dynamics of each company, it's wiser to initiate trial methodologies in a small group, with those closest to you and your projects.
