Purpose and Scope:


The HR Business Partner plays a key role in helping the business achieve its strategic goals through the local implementation of global HR strategies and thoughtful people operations.

Success requires building meaningful relationships within the organization and applying independent thinking to make well-founded, robust, and reasoned judgments. This entails effective collaboration with others, including line management (currently 2 direct reports), and providing clear directional leadership. At all times, the importance of talent and engagement as central pillars of a high-performance culture will be promoted.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the local leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and the employee value proposition.
  • Translate global HR strategies into local initiatives.
  • Align operations with the overall employee value proposition and company values.
  • Lead the local HR team through coaching and development.
  • Oversight of all key HR operations in the local office, including Employee lifecycle activities, HR administration, contractual documents, and processes.
  • Recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Compensation and benefits management.
  • Talent and Performance Management
  • Contribute to office culture and employee experience.


Required Experience:

  • Several years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a strategic HR role.
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Fluency in German and English


The role is based in Munich but requires occasional travel to other sites. It is expected that this will take up no more than 10% of the time, but flexibility is required.
