Your crew during this flight:

We are looking for you as a Finance Manager, working closely with the wider team to enrich a world-class Finance function. You will strategically enhance Volocopter’s international scale up by driving our global Finance activities.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a full understanding of industry practices who has previously demonstrated success in a fast-paced and flexible environment. This is also a commercial role, and we will offer you the opportunity to shape the finance function and contribute to the further development of the Volocopter organization. You will drive and maintain process excellence to ensure compliance and user acceptance across all finance areas.

Your mission during this flight:

• You will be guiding cash and risk management operational strategies including optimization of bank account structures in terms of fees, performance and compliance
• You will be responsible for overseeing daily cash management, focusing on cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, short-term funding, compliant payment processing
• You will be responsible for overseeing the cash flow forecasting process, maintaining and updating a consolidated liquidity forecast, together with the Controlling Team
• You will manage bank relationships for financing requirements, especially debt and leasing facilities
• You will be responsible for optimizing our financial processes (e.g. R2R, P2P, O2C, Planning, Tax, etc.) end-to-end together with the process owners
• You will be a driver of accounting processes and implementing accounting changes including documentation
• You will be a change manager in the finance department to accelerate automation and scalability
• You will actively contribute to our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures in accordance with IFRS (and local GAAP)
  
  

, Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant professional experience, especially in the finance team of an industrial company or in corresponding areas of a financial services company, desirable with experience infast-growing technology companies
• Successfully completed business studies ideally with a focus on Finance, Business or comparable qualification
• Affinity for technology and digitalization, as well as passion in driving new ideas
• Confidence in handling of MS Office applications (especially Excel), knowledge of Treasury Management System (TMS), particularly FIS Integrity desirable as well as ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, preferred
• Strong intellect, combined with excellent commercial and analytical thinking as well as pragmatic and implementation-oriented working style
• Project experience and strong end-to-end process thinking
• High degree of reliability, independence and flexibility
• Very good communication and presentation skills including C-level messaging
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken language)
