𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯. 🙋♂️ I’m back with another short, (not so) educational flurry of words to add a little sunshine (or maybe in today’s case, sunburn…) to your #LinkedIn feed.☀ As you’ll see from the yet again hyper-realistic graphic (solid work Diego), today’s topic is the wonder that we all know and love: 🕶𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙈𝙀𝙍 𝙃𝙊𝙇𝙄𝘿𝘼𝙔⛱ So, grab your suncream and remind yourself that what I say 𝖬𝖨𝖦𝖧𝖳 𝖭𝖮𝖳 𝖡𝖤 𝖤𝖭𝖳𝖨𝖱𝖤𝖫𝖸 𝖠𝖢𝖢𝖴𝖱𝖠𝖳𝖤, and let’s cannonball right into it. 🚀 Firing up my #Penta branded time machine, we’re going back to Ancient Roman times. 🔙 Back then, some wealthy #Romans used to go on #holiday for 𝗨𝗣 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦!? 😲 Sure, they probably had to #travel wherever they were going in one of those Flintstone cars where you use your feet or something but 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟.🤯 Who would have thought people known for decadence and excess would be interested in something like a 𝗧𝗪𝗢-𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 holiday eh❓ Skipping forward a load of Roman Holidays(𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘣𝘵𝘸😊) we land in the Middle Ages. 👈 Travel seldom occurred aside from religious pilgrimages or walking over to the next village. 🆄🅽🅻🅴🆂🆂… yep, you guessed it.😏 Unless you were particularly wealthy and part of the upper class. Young, affluent gentlemen would undertake what was known as ‘The Grand Tour’. 🗺 ➡ Basically, a super posh study #trip around #Europe. Obviously, I never did anything like that, but I did take part in the French exchange. 😊 I don’t think my French equivalent liked me all that much, his younger brother certainly didn’t after I mercilessly and ruthlessly crushed him at #FIFA multiple times. 😎 Now, I didn’t learn an awful lot on my trip (𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘰𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘸𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 😍) but I certainly taught that kid a few lessons that day. 😉 Anyway, somewhere between “The Grand Tour” and several gratuitous #football simulation ass whooping’s, they made the roads a lot better I guess, they also made engines. 👌 And probably #trains and #planes too. ✈ So now people like me and you can go on #holiday in the #summer. 🤙 Speaking of which, you should go on holiday this summer, and stay at a #Penta whilst you’re at it, so they can pay me and I can go on holiday or failing that I can just buy lots of crisps. 😁 See ya next month for more potato talk. 😉 BYE! 🤗 #dansview #summerholidays #hospitalitynews #copywriter #pentahotels #pentalovesyou #teamspirit
