It’s a wrap! The second FoodHack Berlin Meet-Up of 2024 is done and dusted, but the insights will stay with us for a long time. Around 90 attendees gathered to hear from our superstar speakers: Will Norris (Choco) Lia Carlucci 🌱 (Food Campus Berlin), Peter Dorfner (Green Generation Fund and Maximilian Köhler (Optiwiser A.I. Solutions) Our speakers shared their unique perspectives on AI & FoodTech opportunities, real-world use cases - including when it comes to demand planning for chocolate bunnies at Easter - and we finally answered the question “do VCs require foodtechs to integrate AI?” The answer: No, but it’s fundamentally important you are aware of what’s happening in the space anyway and have analysed the risks and opportunities you’re missing out on. And also important, don’t just integrate it for the sake of it. AI-washing is a thing, don’t be guilty of it! 🚿 Huge thanks to Ramona Brunner for keeping us all up to speed during the moderation 👌 But it wasn’t just food for thought!
