#throwback to our Summer Offsite - What a core memory! ☀️ 3 weeks ago, we had our first ever EDURINO #offsite, and we are still reminiscing! 💫 The feedback from the team was close to 10/10 - so here are our TOP3 key take aways about what made our offsite to special: 💙 Location: Having a whole hotel booked exclusively for our EDURINO Team was so much fun, and made it so much easier to connect with people from different teams & departments. 💙 Full focus on #freetime & #teambuilding activities: Even though workshops can be very valuable, this time our main focus was on just spending quality time together. Going on a hike while playing a walking game, competing in our team olympics and ensuring enough freetime in between gave us the chance to really deepen connections! 💙 An evening to remember: Our BBQ & bonfire evening was an absolute highlight. Amazing food, a stunning sunset, a fire show as a surprise, bread on sticks - we loved really EVERYTHING about it. Team bonding at its best! 🌟 Why you can find hundreds of selfies with donuts in our team chats 🌟 At Edurino | We are hiring!, we believe that building strong connections within our team is the foundation of our success. As a "remote-first" company, we know how important it is to foster these connections, even when we're not physically together. That’s why we’ve implemented our fantastic Coffee-Chat initiative using the Donut app! 🍩 🗓️ Every two weeks, Donut randomly groups three of our team members, giving them the chance to arrange a casual 15-minute coffee chat. The beauty of these chats is that they are entirely free-form – whether it's sharing weekend stories, discussing hobbies, or just chatting about the latest movies. 🤳 One of the highlights of those coffee chats is our photo tradition. At the end of each chat, we snap a selfie and let the team vote on the best Donut-Selfie from the past two weeks. We've been featured in Handelsblatt: "Learning with Figurines and Apps - A Good Idea?" ✨ We are thrilled that Handelsblatt (& Jan Lutz) has reported on EDURINO and has addressed a very important topic. 🚀 Our figurines, like the fox Mika and the dog Luca, guide children from the age of 4 through exciting learning worlds and adapt to their learning strengths. Many thanks also to Jan Reichelt (10x Founders) and Helen Knauf, who says that "EDURINO complements the range but is not the solution to childcare or education problems," while being a "completely legitimate, relieving, and sensible thing" in the family context. So, what remains? ▶️ The responsibility for early childhood education is a collective task and lies both within the family and institutional framework - that's why we are weekly in our partner kindergartens and at families' homes to develop the products with and for children. ▶️ Despite the Digital Pact, digitalization in kindergartens and schools is progressing extremely slowly - That's why we believe in the need to create solutions. ▶️ Digital media are part of children's everyday lives as a complement to traditional playing and learning, and that's why it is so important to cultivate a responsible, educational use of it from an early age.
