The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for capital expenditure projects.
Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial guidelines.
Work closely with finance teams to track project expenditures and forecast future spending.
Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and contractors for project execution.
Negotiate contracts, oversee vendor performance, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment with project goals.
Communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders.
Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Implement and oversee quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field, e.g., Project Management, Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAPEX Project Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing capital projects from initiation to completion.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively communicate in both English and French
