� Threads that have wandered hopelessly off topic.
� Threads that have degraded into a "flame war" but still contain useful information.
� Threads with exceptionally useful information that should be preserved.
The decision to lock a thread is not treated lightly by moderators and the reasoning is not open for discussion.
