Bundle deals with AT&T wireless
Some pixelation on clear days and rain fade during storms
It was better before AT&T bought them!

Get a tech out

I've had DirecTV satellite for almost 2 years. It's perfect, rarely a signal outage. Have a tech come out and realign the dish + check the connectors.
Maybe there's corrosion on the connectors + the dish could be misaligned. Alot of people on the internet think dish misalignments are common.

I could create a laundry list...

I could roll my list of grievances across the floor since AT&T bought out DirecTV. I was a very satisfied customer for 18 years until all of the bugginess forced me to switch to Dish. I won't say that I will never go back, but there's a lot of bugs to work out of the system before I'll consider it. I want to like them, but at the moment just can't.

How do you like Dish? How's the experience compared to DTV? The Hopper DVR, channel selection, signal strength, etc? I have not even considered Dish yet, but I think I'll do my research on them soon.

I am with each of you

Regarding Dtv, the pixelation is getting worse, the guide is awful and buggy as well. Another thing I noticed is that when wanting to record a future, already in progress movie, there are none to record. Happening more and more since at&t took over.
