I went to Big John's for lunch 2 days in a row while performing jury service. I had never been prior to my first visit. I am hyper critical of BBQ establishments because they can't compete with my own BBQ and most of the time they get 2 or 3 stars. For context, a famous BBQ establishment in Driftwood TX only garnered 1 star from me. Big John's is different - 1. This place is busy and the lot starts filling up before they open at 11 am. 2.They are big on service! You won't die of thirst or need anything as often as the staff come by to visit you. 3. The portions are between perfect to oversized. 4. Their BBQ: it is clearly made to appeal to as many palates as possible, not much of a smoke ring on the brisket plus it was a tad on the dry side, their jalapeno sausage had almost no smoke flavor at all but was very flavorful. Would have been dynamite with a smoke flavor profile. 5. The "Crack" - it appears to be a cream cheese base with a bunch of seasoning and jalapenos? Maybe? Personally, I did not care for the condiment because it took away from the taste of the food it was added to, but a lot of others had to have it and raved about it. 6. A Fried Hamburger! This was really good!, not overcooked and fun to eat - the staff will ask if you want "all the fixins" and if you say yes, you're going to get a pile of lettuce, tomatoes and onions to make a separate salad. And a dump truck full of French fries as the side. BTW - Their coleslaw is top notch too! 7. The little custard dessert at the end is a real slap to the back of your head - I never saw that coming. Excellent palate cleanser before you leave. If you have not been - please go. It's really half experience and half food. Together they make it a 5-star experience, but the BBQ for me brought it down to a 4. I'll be back!

The arrangements were TOP NOTCH. As I've mentioned before this was our first time leaving all the logistics rest in the hands of professionals and your work didn't disappoint. It was truly a treat to not drive and cover this much territory. We were impressed with all the guides' thorough knowledge, upbeat attitude, punctuality and flexibility. We soon learned that to become a guide in Peru is no easy task and requires several years of study. We felt a real cultural connection with both guides and drivers (who are also specialists in their field) during the commute to the sites, this gave us ample time to talk about their lives, upbringing etc.. They were able to perfectly coordinate the agenda, work in tandem with the driver to effortlessly pick us up and drop us off at all the sites, airports, hotels, train stations, bus stations etc. without a hitch. This is a vacation that stands out as one of the best we've ever taken. It was the perfect mix of culture, fun and adventure. My 17 year old didn't want to go home, she was thrilled to be there as were we. Your country is magnificent, so varied and complex. The food is outstanding and the people are remarkable, kind and beautiful. Your itinerary and the activities far exceeded our expectations and I feel that we'd be honored to come back. While we didn't explore all that Peru has to offer, the bit that we saw impressed us altogether. I hope to one day visit Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, and possibly venture towards Iquitos. Our last week in Los Organos was the perfect cap to our vacation. I now realize that June was a great time to visit as the weather was magnificent all the way around and the tourist crowds perfectly manageable. Thank you once again for making this trip a reality, your suggestions were so valuable, and all your arrangements were flawless, we hope to secure your services again in the future, be it again in Peru or possibly other Countries like Argentina, Equador etc. which I noticed your websites also covers.

The food is amazing. I've loved everything I've tried. We've traveled 30 to 40 miles just because we were craving it one day. It's definitely worth the money.

Amazing food, they even arranged for me to pick up my order at the other location since they were out of Tequeños, they definitely go above and beyond for their costumers. And that garlic sauce was heaven my husband enjoyed it a lot

Super pleased with the authenticity. I have been to Brazil many times and this is the only place that really is everyday Brazilian food. Also the staff is awesome, very nice people.

Excellent Customer Service. Good food. Never had to ask for a refill on anything; they took care of it before we even asked. Good ambiance.
