The Role of Youth in Setting up a Just Transition in Ida-Virumaa, Estonia

The Municipality of Kordelio-Evosmos is located in northern Greece near the city of Thessaloniki. It has a population of around 170,000 people, many of whom are school-aged children and youth. It has also established initiatives like MEDMACEDONIA to promote medical tourism and campaigns like "Macedonia - Timeless" to attract more visitors. While tourism plays an important economic role, women in Macedonia face challenges in terms of political representation and land ownership, with patriarchal social norms limiting their participation and decision-making power within families and the labor market.

Lesotho is an under developed economy and faces challenges of the HIV AIDS pandemic, political instability, high poverty levels, high unemployment rate, high public expenditure, declining revenues and inequalities.
