This document summarizes the key challenges facing women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and proposes some solutions. The challenges are categorized into economic, socio-cultural and political factors. Economically, women face difficulties accessing capital and markets. Socio-culturally, they struggle with family responsibilities and social norms. Politically, their participation and issues are not prioritized. The proposed solutions focus on improving access to skills training, finance and networks. Promoting a supportive environment through policy advocacy and awareness programs can empower women entrepreneurs and boost their meaningful participation in the economy. Overall, a multi-pronged approach is needed to address the deep-rooted barriers restricting women's entrepreneur
