Advantages and Disadvantages
AngularJS is a JavaScript framework for building dynamic web applications. It uses MVC architecture and allows developers to write client-side code using HTML as the template language. Key features include two-way data binding, directives for extending HTML, dependency injection, and routing. AngularJS aims to solve problems with traditional HTML by making it dynamic and declarative. It separates concerns into models, views, and controllers and uses services to retrieve data from servers.
This document provides an overview of AngularJS, including its core features and concepts. It discusses how AngularJS is a client-side JavaScript framework that uses MVC architecture. Key points covered include two-way data binding, templates, dependency injection, modules, controllers, views, models, scopes, filters, services, and directives. Custom directives and their creation are demonstrated. The document aims to give attendees an introduction to AngularJS and its basic building blocks.
1) Angular JS modules allow you to organize an application into specific modules that contain controllers, services, filters and directives. A module is created using angular.module and can be retrieved later on.
2) Dependency injection in Angular allows components to receive dependencies from the injector. Dependencies can be annotated inline, through the $inject property or implicitly.
3) Data binding in Angular automatically synchronizes data between the model and view. The view reflects changes made to the model and vice versa using bindings like {{expression}} or ngBind.

Node package manager (NPM) initializes projects and manages front-end packages. Bower manages client-side packages like jQuery. Grunt and Gulp automate workflows. Yo generates application scaffolding. Angular uses MVC architecture with views, models, and controllers. Data binding syncs models and views. Directives extend HTML. Modules contain components and support dependency injection. Routes define application states. Filters format data. Controllers manipulate scope data. Values, services, and factories support dependency injection of reusable code. Testing uses Karma, Jasmine, and generated test skeletons.
AngularJS uses a compile function to parse HTML into DOM elements and compile directives. The compile function sorts directives by priority and executes their compile and link functions to connect the scope to the DOM. It recursively compiles child elements. This allows directives to manipulate DOM elements and register behavior.
This document provides a summary of the AngularJS framework. It discusses the following key points in 3 sentences:
1. AngularJS aims to make HTML better suited for building applications by teaching the browser new syntax like directives. This allows more of the application logic to be handled in the declarative HTML instead of JavaScript code.
2. Angular follows an MVC pattern where the controller contains the business logic and data, the view displays the data through bindings, and the scope acts as a synchronization mechanism between the model and view.
3. Features like data binding, directives, dependency injection and routing allow building dynamic and interactive single-page applications by synchronizing the model and view through declarative templates and separating concerns

Angular is an open-source front-end web development platform for building dynamic single-page applications. It was developed and is maintained by Google. Traditional web applications run from the server, requiring the client to request pages from the server on each user interaction. Single-page applications handle requests and rendering on the client-side using JavaScript, only requiring the server when data needs processing or business logic execution. Angular has evolved through several versions since its initial release in 2010. It is now a TypeScript-based framework that supports progressive web apps and mobile development. Major companies like Google, PayPal, and Microsoft use Angular for its component-based architecture, cross-platform capabilities, and productivity benefits.
This document discusses Ahead-of-Time (AOT) compilation in Angular. It explains that AOT analyzes templates and components and compiles them to JavaScript before deployment for faster rendering. With AOT, the browser does not need to compile code at runtime. The document provides steps to set up an Angular project with AOT using ngc compiler and Rollup to bundle the application.

AngularJS is a structural framework for dynamic web apps. It lets you use HTML as your template language and lets you extend HTML's syntax to express your application's components clearly and succinctly. AngularJS's data binding and dependency injection eliminate much of the code you would otherwise have to write. And it all happens within the browser, making it an ideal partner with any server technology.
The document discusses adding user management functionality to a Node.js application called QAVideos. It involves the following steps:
1. Creating the application using StrongLoop's Loopback framework.
2. Adding Angular support to handle data binding between the client and server.
3. Adding signup and login functionality including signup and success pages, a signup controller, and an authentication service to register new users.
A progressive web app (PWA) delivers an app-like experience through your mobile phone’s browser but has the same flexibility and gestures as a native application. Because they are powered by mobile browsers, they are not particular to any one device, meaning developers no longer need to write separate code for Android and Apple devices.

The Definitive Guide to Implementing Shift Left Testing in QARapidValue
In today's digital world, even though most of the projects are following the Agile methodology, often testers might not get enough time to quantify the problem scope and test the product effectively. Even if a sprint lasts for two weeks, the QA team would get the complete functionality for testing, only two or three days before the sprint completion. Eventually, the QA team would have to rush the testing, struggle for test completion and even end up with improper test coverage and bugs being leaked into production. So the testing phase is often considered as a bottleneck for the release by the management.
Studies done by analysts suggest that the maximum number of defects occur during the requirement
and design phase of the software development life cycle. More than half of the defects occur during the
requirement and design phase of the SDLC, i.e 56% of the total defects. Out of this 56%, 23% occurs during the design phase, 7% in the development phase and 10% defects emerge during the other phases. 2019 witnessed test automation going mainstream with 44% of IT organizations automating more than 50% of
all testing and these figures are expected to go up in the upcoming years. Thus it becomes highly necessary to step up the testing game and ensure that it is done quite efficiently and this is where Shift Left Testing comes into play. Detecting defects early in the software development cycle can prove to be very crucial in regards to cost and efficiency.
This whitepaper discusses how shift left testing could help you reimagine the entire QA testing process.
Data Seeding via Parameterized API RequestsRapidValue
A quick guide on how to data seed via parameterized API requests. Parameterization is very important for automation testing. It helps you to iterate on input data with multiple data sets that make your scripts reusable and maintainable. In few scenarios, you can still manage with hard coded request but the same approach will not work out where sheer count of combinations is to be validated. By implementing the right solution, you can keep your code base and test data size at ideal range and still savor the benefits of optimal coverage.
Katalon Studio allows users to create test cases in three modes: record and replay, manual, and script. For record and replay, a user records their test steps which are played back automatically. In manual mode, users can create test cases using Katalon's built-in keywords without programming. For script mode, users can program test cases using Groovy or Java. The document then explains how to create and execute a sample test case in each mode.

Are you interested in dipping your toes in the cloud native observability waters, but as an engineer you are not sure where to get started with tracing problems through your microservices and application landscapes on Kubernetes? Then this is the session for you, where we take you on your first steps in an active open-source project that offers a buffet of languages, challenges, and opportunities for getting started with telemetry data.
The project is called openTelemetry, but before diving into the specifics, we’ll start with de-mystifying key concepts and terms such as observability, telemetry, instrumentation, cardinality, percentile to lay a foundation. After understanding the nuts and bolts of observability and distributed traces, we’ll explore the openTelemetry community; its Special Interest Groups (SIGs), repositories, and how to become not only an end-user, but possibly a contributor. We will wrap up with an overview of the components in this project, such as the Collector, the OpenTelemetry protocol (OTLP), its APIs, and its SDKs.
Attendees will leave with an understanding of key observability concepts, become grounded in distributed tracing terminology, be aware of the components of openTelemetry, and know how to take their first steps to an open-source contribution!
Key Takeaways: Open source, vendor neutral instrumentation is an exciting new reality as the industry standardizes on openTelemetry for observability. OpenTelemetry is on a mission to enable effective observability by making high-quality, portable telemetry ubiquitous. The world of observability and monitoring today has a steep learning curve and in order to achieve ubiquity, the project would benefit from growing our contributor community.
