I am truly humbled to be recognized as part of the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 List, an honour that belongs to each and every person who has been part of our Diply journey. 

To my amigos, Taylor & Gary, you are not only the best business partners. You are my brothers. This recognition is just as much yours as it is mine. And to the Diply management and team: this is all about you. Your hard work and your dedication. People bring about success and we couldn’t have gotten here without you.  

Over the past five years, the digital publishing and social tech space has changed at a rapid pace and we have constantly adapted to remain leaders in our field. Our expert team, nimble operations and exponential revenue growth achieved the accolades we are so grateful for.  But you don’t join the ranks of the world’s brightest entrepreneurs, innovators and game changers without learning valuable lessons along the way. 

Our simple, entertainment and lifestyle videos and stories – published right here from London and Toronto, Ontario - make people happy when they spend time on social media sites like Facebook. On any given day, we share their favourite arts & crafts on our Crafty channel, or pass along family recipes on Delicious. However, over the last twelve months our feel-good content has become an innocent bystander, caught in the cross fires of news feed algorithms, foreign-meddling and election politics.  

 It has led to a particularly challenging time for our business.  

In my whirlwind years as a young tech entrepreneur, I note that it is in times of challenge we learn the most, grow as individuals and lead by example. And I am grateful to learn from the high calibre talent that is the entire Diply family. From day one, we have had the right people in the right place to move us forward. Together, we navigated the ebbs and flows of a start-up business and made unforgettable memories along the way.

With just a little bit more pride in what we have accomplished, tomorrow is a new day and we will evolve forward.
