Keeping up with new web trends is a continuous effort, but we want to support our team in every way. For that, we started the TBB Talks, by continually bringing in experts to share their knowledge with our collaborators. The last lecture was about web development and artificial intelligence, given by the sharp mind of Gabriel Taveira, tech lead with more than 13 years of experience. No, it’s a UPO! 🌌 Last night, New York City's skyline was illuminated by the first-ever 'UPO' sighting - Unidentified Playing Objects, after the LEGO Group invited kids worldwide to share their ideas on space travel and blasted their predictions over the most photographed skyline of all time 🚀 The LEGO Group invites kids to see space as a playground for their imagination as they unveil epic Space-themed sets this year. Alongside the UPOs, the LEGO Group is also working with the The International Astronomical Union to inspire children to look up at the stars and create Funstellations - official reimaginations of our constellations. ✨ A joint project between our UK and US teams, to light up the sky and inspire children across the globe. 🎉 🙌I interrupt your regularly scheduled long weekend with a celebration🎉🙌 Creative Equals #CreativeComeback presentation day was yesterday, and it was such a fulfilling, impactful, and busy day that I’m only just now sitting down to write about it. Our mentees absolutely crushed it: Bridget Banta and Dayshané Aviles are two of the loveliest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Both with art backgrounds, please add them to your network and consider them for open roles. They are truly awesome and I hope they catch up on all the sleep they lost soon. 😴 Thanks also to my partner in crime Anastasia Serdukova for helping steer the ship in the uncharted waters of this mentorship journey. 👯♀️ There were some ups and downs, as there are with any creative process, but all the hard work paid off as The Brooklyn Brothers team was named as one of the top 3 presentations of the day by Diageo. What an honor. 🥂 Special shout out also to amazing writers Larissa Kirschner-Chaney and Maria Fernanda Soria who also cracked the top 3 with their amazing presentations.
