Imagine seeking treatment and healing in a state-of-the-art cancer and blood disorder facility surrounded by nature in a wooded setting, and offering a physician-owned, collaborative, and patient-centric approach. These components of compassionate care are why Ashley VanBuskirk is excited about her work at New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) and its new, larger facility. Designed by Page and slated to open in 2025, the new Rock Row Medical & Research campus in Westbrook, Maine, will also provide amenities ranging from restaurants to live music. In the construction and design community, LGBTQ+ individuals play an integral role in driving innovation, fostering creativity, and pushing boundaries. Here's why LGBTQ+ Pride is crucial within the construction and design industry: 1. Diverse Perspectives Spark Innovation: Inclusion breeds innovation. LGBTQ+ individuals bring diverse perspectives shaped by their unique life experiences.
