As PRIDE month draws to a close, we’re aware that the work on behalf of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual community is ongoing. Our prototype for LGBTQIA+ community health needs is presented in our white paper, “The Prism Wellness and Community Center – A Model for Inclusive Design" authored by Page Principal + Senior Healthcare Planner Hilary Bales, AIA, ACHA, EDAC and Healthcare Planner Elizabeth Ulibarri: https://bit.ly/4cEnNy6 Factors such as violence, social exclusion, and discrimination have created barriers to healthcare access for many in the LGBTQIA+ community. Our model shares Page’s commitment to inclusive design and offers ideas to help break down barriers, reduce stigma, and support healthcare access for all. Please read, share, and let us know in the comments below what concepts from our prototype you find most impactful. #DesignThatMakesLivesBetter #ThinkWhatsPossible #LGBTQIA+ #pride #health #InclusiveDesign

What a beautiful design! Your prototype for the PRISM Wellness and Community Center creates an inviting, open space that, even on paper, you can feel the flow and warmth of the space. Kudos on this magnificent design.
