To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the use of #Hydrogen, called #AlternativeEnergy, in place of fossil fuels is being promoted on a global scale. Therefore, HORIBA Process & Environmental introduced TCD, the measuring principle of hydrogen analyzers.

#HORIBA offers a variety of analyzers and instruments to help customers solve problems through the measurement of gases, particles (airborne soot and dust), temperature, glosses, and radiation. To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the use of #Hydrogen, called #AlternativeEnergy, in place of fossil fuels is being promoted on a global scale. Therefore, we introduce TCD, the measuring principle of hydrogen analyzers. <Thermal Conductivity Detector Method (#TCD )> The thermal conductivity detector method (TCD) uses the inherent characteristics of gases for the thermal transfer to measure gas concentrations. By using a thermal wire sensor, such as a heated platinum wire, the change in temperature due to the variation in thermal conductivity of the sample gas is detected as a change in electrical resistance. This allows for the measurement of the concentration of the measured component gas in the sample gas.
