🎓 Proud Parent Alert: Jack's Graduation 🎓 My son Jack graduated from high school last week and will be embarking on his next adventure at Middlebury College! This milestone has given me an opportunity to reflect on three important lessons: 1️⃣ Resilience Through Challenges: Watching Jack overcome setbacks in the classroom, injuries on the field, and the loss of his grandparents has made me incredibly proud of his resilience. Each challenge is an opportunity for growth, and perseverance always pays off. 2️⃣ The Power of Community: The support from friends, teachers, coaches, and fellow parents has been invaluable. These strong relationships enabled Jack to help build a sense of community, providing unique perspectives that fueled his personal growth. 3️⃣ Lifelong Learning: As Coach John Wooden liked to say, “It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts.” While graduation is a happy milestone to reflect on learning and distance traveled, it’s also a great reminder to commit to lifelong learning; to be a “learn-it-all” not a “know-it-all,” as Satya Nadella says. As Jack prepares for Middlebury College, I'm filled with pride and excitement for what the future holds. Here's to new beginnings and the journey ahead! #Graduation #ProudParent #LessonsLearned #NextChapter #MiddleburyCollege Jack O'Neill
