What a great event! Thank you to National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB), thank you to the engaged audience! Learned a lot, while it’s been great to witness the Thought Leadership developed in India.

As cyber criminals continue to carry out more sophisticated attacks, protecting the UK’s critical infrastructure from cybercrime must continue to be a priority under a Labour Government. The following must be done:     🎓 Upskill and re-skill to close the cyber skills gap   Reducing cybersecurity vacancies is the first step in protecting UK industry. Standardised qualifications based on International good practice, can pave a clear roadmap to upskill the cybersecurity industry. Combined with financially incentivised training programmes, this government can close the cyber skills gap.   💪 Establish a national code of practice to build cyber resilience   Through assurance and assessment schemes - the establishment, promotion and incentivising of the Cyber Governance Code of Practice by Labour can build national cyber resilience.   🛡️ Defend critical infrastructures to retain consumer trust   With sensitive data across all of the UK’s critical industries, no one is immune to cyberthreats. The proliferation of AI makes cybersecurity a necessity - not a nice-to-have.   In a time of constant development, regulation is struggling to keep up with innovation - putting cybersecurity risks at an all-time high.    I hope this breach acts as a symbol of the importance of cybersecurity education, as many times our thirst to innovate leads us to uncharted terrain in terms of the risks we may be facing.   Read more: https://reut.rs/3RY8WH8 via @Reuters   #cyberattack #cybersecurity #AI

It’s really exciting to see the UK government endorsing the UK Cyber Security Council Cyber Security Certification Framework that we proudly contributed to at ISACA.
