Today, we were honored to welcome the Bavarian State Minister for Science and Art, Markus Blume, MdL, together with his parliamentary colleagues Björn Jungbauer, MdL, and Dr. Andrea Behr, MdL to our Bilfinger site in Würzburg, Germany. In addition to a tour of our workshop, the focus was on the possibilities of #nuclearfusion. The "Bavarian Master Plan" has the ambitious goal of making Bavaria a global center of fusion research and establishing the “Bavarian Fusion Cluster”. We are proud to be able to make an important contribution to this transformative project, with our more than 60 years of experience in the #nuclear industry and our long-standing expertise in manufacturing superconducting magnets used in #fusion reactors. Roland Pechtl, Vice President Business Unit Waste Management & Special Equipment at Bilfinger: “We are very pleased about the interest and support from the Bavarian State Government. We welcome the fact that industry and politics are working hand in hand to ensure that Bavaria, from being a top know-how carrier in fusion, becomes a leading producer of fusion energy.” Thank you for the visit, the fruitful dialogue and the extensive discussion about shaping a sustainable energy future! #Bilfinger #NuclearFusion #Innovation #EnergyTransition
Wish the best for Bilfinger.
