About the Gig:

The Director of Alliances is a cross functional connector who works with sales, marketing, technology, and delivery to build external partnerships that support the purposeful growth of Sercante. Your focus on revenue and pipeline generation will enable you to make an impact from day one.

A Day-in-the-Life:

  • Develop and implement a partnership strategy that aligns with Sercante's business goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with ISVs in the martech and sales tech space that lead to new business for Sercante
  • Grow partnerships with other Salesforce consultancies that don't have in-house Marketing Cloud resources
  • Manage relationships with Salesforce, HubSpot, and other tech ecosystems -- learning their "tiering" inside and out and making sure we always come out on top
  • Recruit partners to co-sponsor events for Connections, Dreamforce, and regional events and manage sponsor relationships before, during, and after those events
  • Administer Crossbeam account and conduct account mapping exercises
  • Make all departments and internal teams aware of partnership efforts (via internal demos, Slack, 1:1 meetings, etc.) and ensure that new things "stick" with our team
  • Manage internal vendor directory highlighting partners and solutions
  • Support generation of mutual client stories with high-value partners
  • Get team certified in relevant areas/ecosystem
  • Drive growth in partner-sourced revenue numbers
  • Stay informed on industry trends to adapt and refine the partnership strategy.

A Successful Director of Alliance will:

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success and ROI of each partnership.
  • Regularly engage with partners to align on mutual goals and outcomes.
  • Regularly review and adjust partnership strategies based on performance data, feedback, and contribution to revenue.
  • Serve as a champion in identifying specific customer partnership opportunities and own the outcome alongside the delivery team
  • Be familiar with the Salesforce ecosystem and products.
  • Build strong relationships with tech leadership, marketing, and sales internally.
  • Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability -- they do what it takes to get the job done.
