Job Description


As the Founding Head of Business Development and B2B Sales at Wise Panda, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our language learning solution by establishing and expanding partnerships with enterprises across the US and North America (NORAM) regions. This role is designed for a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven sales leader who thrives in a 0-1 environment and is passionate about building and leading a high-performing sales team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our B2B sales strategy and make a significant impact on the company's growth trajectory.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and sales strategy to drive revenue growth through enterprise partnerships.
  • Identify, target, and engage with key decision-makers at potential partner companies to present Wise Panda's language learning solutions.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring consistent follow-up with prospects.
  • Negotiate and close deals with enterprise clients, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create compelling sales materials and campaigns tailored to enterprise clients.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to refine and optimize the sales approach.
  • Develop and implement scalable sales processes, tools, and metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the executive team, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a growing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent Wise Panda at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Work closely with product and customer success teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and implementation process for enterprise clients.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in business development and B2B sales, preferably within the education technology or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated success in selling solutions to enterprise clients, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network and relationships with decision-makers in target industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales processes, tools, and metrics.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to build and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in the language learning or education technology industry.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • Background in working with international teams and clients.
