Director of Business Applications (Yardi)

• This hybrid role requires the candidate to be onsite three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for two days.

As the Director of Business Applications, you will oversee the management, strategy, and execution of the company’s business applications portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications align with business objectives and provide robust solutions to support the company’s operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the business applications team, providing direction and support.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the current and future application environment.
• Ensure the efficient operation and integration of business applications including Yardi, NexusPayables, JD Edwards, SharePoint, Concur, Microsoft Power BI, Essbase, Salesforce, Argus, ServiceNow, VTS, Oracle Unifier, and Anaplan.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to business applications.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all applications.
• Provide training and support to users to maximize the effectiveness of business applications.
• Monitor and evaluate application performance, making recommendations for improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Director of Business Applications or similar role.
• Strong understanding of a wide range of business applications including Yardi, NexusPayables, JD Edwards, SharePoint, Concur, Microsoft Power BI, Essbase, Salesforce, Argus, ServiceNow, VTS, Oracle Unifier, and Anaplan.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the life sciences or real estate industries.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and integrations.
