“I was fortunate enough to hire Sam while I was a sales manager at Dell. I have probably worked with 500 sales people in my career, and there is no doubt in my mind that Sam is in the elite. He came to Dell from Lenovo, and it was clear that he understood IT very well, and was a student of the industry. He required very little training and learned Dell’s complex processes and systems quickly. Over the next several years, Sam closed very large, intricate deals, and always provided the highest levels of customer service – I used to give Sam the toughest pain in the butt accounts to manage (that I knew some of my other sales reps couldn’t handle), and he always could. I learned a number of selling skills and strategies from Sam, and even today we talk shop quarterly and enjoy bouncing sales and business problems off of each other. Any company would be lucky to have Sam, and I hope that we can work together again in the future. ”
