Wakefield BioChar provides a sustainable, organic solution for soil health and remediation services. For agriculture, biochar is a premium quality soil conditioner that gives your crops the best opportunity for success because it helps create healthier soil. And, as an added bonus biochar soil conditioner contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere by returning carbon to the soil. Biochar is not a new product for your soil. It is actually a solution for great soil health that has been forgotten over the years. With a gentle nudge we are happy to help remind the world of its benefits. Public awareness of the need for sustainable business practices has put biochar into the conversation for preferred organic solutions that won't negatively impact our environment. By using low nutrient value biomass (a.k.a. cleared trees and paper mill waste material) and returning back into our soil to improve crop production, reclaim urban land for farming, reduce contaminants in our stormwater and decrease the amount of CO2 released into our atmosphere we are creating a system the optimizes the use of resources to improve our society. Simply put, returning carbon back into our soil can make the world a better place. This is done through a micro-level with backyard gardens, flower beds and lawn care and in large industrial measures by incorporating biochar into stormwater remediation and farming.
