    Getting your partners in shape is like getting yourself in shape. Going from point A to point B. Assessment: based on your partner profile run a diagnosis. You need to know the ‘As is’ before you can start making a plan. Point A. Goal setting: intrinsic motivation is the key to any achievement, find a way that resonates with your partner. Point B   Planning: build a program/action plan to go from point A to point B. Execution: engaging in regular workouts is tough but the only way to get somewhere. Rigor, commitment, and accountability are the essential ingredients here   Measurement: Assess your progress and adapt. Monitoring your partners' progress and double down on best practices. #partnerplanning #brm #partnercapabilities

    The Best-in-class partner operating model What an episode this was! Thank you, Kyle Edmund Hayes, MSc, MBA for your amazing insights and take on how to build the partnership operating model of the future! Kyle is the Global Sr Director of Channel Ecosystems & Transformation at Ivanti and has been in the industry for over 15 years working across IBM, Microsoft, and Infor. Kyle is really one of those innovators that is shaping the future of partnerships for Ivanti. In this episode what stood out for me was: 1. Partner Operations after M&A There are so many moving pieces in the growth and acquisition process. The key is really to first understand the business, and map all the processes that you have available. Then imagine what the partner experience should like like 2. Business planning is a weekly thing Business planning should be done at least once a week. The biggest pitfalls of a partnership is losing sight of the end result. You need to be focused on short and long-term OKRs (Objectives & Key Results). 3. Best-in-class partner technology stack There are plenty of tools out there that can solve specific business problems. Solutions that will help the company scale as efficiently as possible are what you need to be looking for.
